Making this photo
Very simple, all you need is black wide paper, stick, and the snake. But don't use venomous snake for your savety, Ha..ha..
First, put the snake on the stick and let the snake feels comfortable and calm, for easier shoting.
Second, put the black wide paper as the Background. Keep it closer to the object if the paper is not wide enough. But no problem if you have the wide one.
Third, shot!
Next Step
The next step is retouching using Photoshop. But unfortunately, I'm just beginner in retouching. So I'm sorry I just can tell you the simple way, but that's the only thing that i know... and I don't know whether it's correct or not. Ha..ha..
First, use the 'Burn Tool' to make the background darker. Why 'Burn Tool' instead of 'Brush Tool'? Because you don't need extra attention when you paint some difficult area (near the object). 'Burn Tool' will not affect too much to the object even if we 'touch' the object. But once again, I don't know whether it's correct or not, it's just my experience..
Set the ‘Range’ option to ‘Shadows’.
Then, move the brush and start to paint.
Second, after darkening the background, add the wide area in the left side for a better composition.
Third, adjust the level until you get nice lighting, not over or even under exposure.
Finished! Don't forget to save the file! Ha.ha..
That's all, thank you!
